We have an opening for a Civil Engineer intern in our Champaign, IL office for the summer of 2024. The internship will provide an opportunity to work with engineers on the planning and design of civil environmental projects throughout the state of Illinois. The selected candidate will assist with: design and drafting of plant upgrades, lift stations, or forcemains; equipment selection and specification preparation; drainage or hydraulic calculations; and other tasks as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Jr. or Sr. level student in Civil Engineering; 3.0 cumulative GPA is required.
• Must have an interest in the field of civil environmental engineering.
• Ability to compute quantities and verify measurements and layouts under the direction of an engineer.
• Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience using AutoCad, ArcGIS, or Civil 3D is desired.
• Proficient with MS Office for compiling and presenting project data and writing reports.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
