General Summary of Duties
Christie Clinic's department of Learning & Development is seeking a full-time Learning & Development Assistant at the University clinic from Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, with no night or weekend requirements. This position will require the ability to travel to other locations, as needed, to support the department.
Responsible for the clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of organizational training and development programs.
Job Qualifications and Expectations
JOB DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)

Provide general administrative assistance to the Learning & Development Manager and trainers for all development programs.

Provide administrative support for development events and programs, such as coordinating details with instructors, sending reminders/pre-course information, preparing materials, and communicating post-course information.

Assist in the scheduling and advertising of development opportunities.

Ensure that venues are booked and set up for development sessions.

Process enrollments for all learning opportunities.

Answer routine inquiries regarding courses, schedules, and materials/equipment.

Assist in the development and printing/posting of educational materials.

Track and maintain team member attendance records.

Coordinate assignments on HealthStream (Christie Clinic’s learning management system) for orientation, annual compliance, and a variety of other training opportunities.

Update and maintain department announcements and events on the internal website (the Beacon).

Handle any other task associated with organizing, scheduling, and executing development sessions.

Perform related work as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree

Experience in an educational/training setting

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Physical demands include sitting, standing, bending, stooping and lifting up to 50 pounds. Hearing within normal range, vision correctable to 20/20 and manual dexterity for the operation of office equipment is required. Occasional irregular work hours may be required.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work occurs in a normal office environment. Work may be stressful and involve dealing with a variety of individuals. Occasional travel between Christie Clinic locations may be required.
PAY AND BENEFITS:
The estimated pay range for this position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related criteria.
