    Qualifications
    • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with Elementary Education Endorsement
    • Experience working with primary-grade students preferred
      Number of Positions:
      • Classroom Teachers (up to 20) and ML Teachers (up to 2)
        • Experience with culturally responsive instruction and instructional differentiation preferred
      • Targeted Interventionists (up to 9)
        • Orton-Gillingham trained or willing to complete training by June 2, 2026
    Application Deadline
    • This position will remain posted until the hiring process is complete; however, interviews may be conducted after February 23, 2026, so interested applicants should submit their materials ASAP to ensure consideration.
    Important Notes
    • This position is for the District's Elementary Title I Summer School Program, which will be located at Stratton Academy.
    • This program runs Monday-Thursday from June 3, 2026 - July 2, 2026.
    • Student Contact Hours will be from 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
    • Staff will be expected to be on duty (and will be paid) from 7:15 a.m.-12:45 p.m. or 7:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m.
      • This includes 30 minutes of planning before or after school.
    • Initial required training (paid) will be Tuesday, June 2, 2026 from 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., with a one hour unpaid lunch break, at Stratton Academy.
    • Teachers will be paid at the rate of $40.00/hour.
    • Classroom Teachers, Elementary Interventionists, Elementary Instructional Coaches, Elementary MLL Teachers, Elementary SPED Teachers, and Elementary Specials Teachers are all encouraged to apply.
