- Valid Illinois High School Professional Educator License with Safety and Driver Education Endorsement
- This position will remain posted until the hiring process is complete; however, interviews may be conducted after February 23, 2026, so interested applicants should submit their materials ASAP to ensure consideration.
- This position is for the District's High School Summer School Program, which will be located at Centennial High School.
- The first session runs Monday-Thursday from June 1, 2026-June 25, 2026.
- The second session runs Monday-Thursday from June 29, 2026-July 23, 2026.
- Student Contact Hours will be determined by availability of instructors and students.
- Staff will be expected to be on duty (and will be paid) from 7:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
- Staff will also be paid to attend professional learning on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 from 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
- Staff will also be paid for a staff meeting from 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. each session (June 2, 2026 and June 23, 2026). Teachers teaching both sessions will only attend the 1-hour staff meeting on June 1, 2026.
- Teachers will also be paid for three (3) hours of paid prep time at the beginning of each session, and from 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. for grading and finalizing the session on the final day of each session (June 25, 2026 and July 23, 2026).
- Please note that classes will only run if enrollment requirements are met, regardless of whether a position has been offered.
- Teachers will be paid at the rate of $40.00/hour.

- Champaign Unit 4 Schools serves over 10,000 PreK-Young Adult students in 18 facilities, which include twelve elementary schools, three middle schools, two high schools, one early childhood facility, and the Novak Academy.
