    Qualifications
    • Associate's degree or higher in computer science, systems engineering or network administration; Bachelor's degree preferred
    • A minimum of 3 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience
    • Expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing large-scale distributed systems and hardware-related issues on a variety of devices and platforms
    • Working knowledge of multiple operating systems (Windows, ChromeOS, Android, macOS, iPadOS, iOS)
    • Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocol
    • Working knowledge of UNIX system administration
    • Experience with Widows/Linux Servers
    • Experience with VMware/Hyper V including VLAN and Enterprise Plus features
    • Experience with TRAPS Endpoint Protection
    • Experience with Palo Alto/Securly Internet and the email-filtering appliance (preferred)
    • Working knowledge of a variety of software applications and online storage & productivity tools
    • Analytical and critical thinking capabilities
    • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
    • Ability to travel between work locations efficiently
    Compensation
    • The hourly wage for this position is determined based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Champaign Educational Support Professionals, which is available on our website. The District gives experienced employees up to 20 years of experience credit for service outside the District if it is directly related to their position. 100% of an employee's contributions to IMRF are currently paid by the Board of Education. The Board also pays 100% of employee-only health and term life insurance. There is a minimal employee cost for vision insurance. Dental is also available at competitive rates to interested employees. There are opportunities for employees to earn additional compensation during the regular school year and in the summer.
