  • Experience working with primary students preferred

Important Notes
  • This position is for the District’s Elementary Title I Summer School Program, which will be located at Dr. Howard Elementary School.
  • This program runs Monday-Thursday from June 5, 2023 - July 13, 2023, except for the weeks of June 19, 2023 and July 4, 2023. We will observe Junteenth and the 4th of July and during those weeks we will have school on Fridays.
  • Staff will be expected to be on duty (and will be paid) from 8:30-10:30 a.m. or 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. depending on teacher preference. Once chosen, this schedule is not flexible to change.
    • Teachers working 4 hours/day will be give up to 18 hours of planning and progress monitoring time, outside of their work hours.
    • Teachers working 2 hours/day will be given up to 9 hours of planning and progress monitoring time, outside of their work hours.
  • Initial required training (paid) will be Thursday, June 1, 2023 and Friday, June 2, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Dr. Howard Elementary School.
  • Teachers will be paid at the rate of $35.00/hour.
  • Classroom Teacher, Elementary Interventionist, Elementary Istructional Coach, Elementary MLL Teacher, and Elementary SPED Teachers are all encouraged to apply
