The Sports Official is responsible for officiating league games and tournaments at assigned youth and/or adult programs. Pay rates are $14.00/hr. for meetings; game rates range from $20-45 per game, depending on whether the official is licensed or unlicensed and size of field.

SUPERVISION

The Sports Official reports directly to the Sports Official Assignor and Sports Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Follow all Champaign Park District safety policies and perform all work in a manner that ensures the safety of the public, fellow employees, and themselves
• Maintain control of participants and games within the framework of the rules and District policies
• Effectively officiate games and tournaments
• Maintain a professional appearance while working
• Available to work weekends upon request
• Other duties as assigned
