The Coordinated Entry System Coordinator impacts the direct success of a critical system in the Champaign County continuum of services for the homeless that ensures people and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness are quickly and fairly assessed for and referred to resources. This role will facilitate the Coordinated Entry System (CES) in partnership with Champaign County Continuum of Service Providers to the Homeless and the CES team, including:
· Entering, maintaining, and regularly reporting on CES data
· Recruiting, training, and supporting CES partner organizations
· Facilitating regular CES committee meetings
· Supporting grant applications and reports
· Developing expertise in CES, including ensuring alignment with Housing and Urban Development requirements and CSPH standards
· Increasing awareness and understanding of CES within the community through outreach
· Providing direct Coordinated Entry services (i.e., assessment and referral) to individuals and families.
Ideal candidates will have:
· Mid- to high-level knowledge and experience in human social services, particularly with people impacted by homelessness
· Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, public speaking, facilitation, partnership, and data management and analysis skills
· Base-level knowledge of Coordinated Entry Systems and Continuums of Care, with demonstrated initiative to continue learning and growing their expertise
