    Summary
    The Champaign County Probation and Court Services Department is accepting applications to fill the vacancy for a Court Services Officer in the Adult Probation Division.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    Duties include but are not limited to as other duties may be assigned:
    • Supervision and case management of clients.
    • Court report writing.
    • Appearances in court.
    • Conducting interviews and assessments.
    • Collaboration with providers, agencies, families, employers, and schools.

    Qualifications
    • Successful completion of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
    • Must be a United States citizen.
    • Must be a resident of Illinois within 90 days of appointment.
    • Successfully pass a background check.
    • Must possess a valid driver's license.

    Compensation
    • The starting salary for Court Services Officer – Adult Probation is $47,911.50 annually.
      • Note: The starting salary is set by a Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement with the Fraternal Order of Police and is not subject to change. Experienced candidates with prior employment as a Probation Officer may be eligible to start at a higher rate of pay based on their experience.
