Overview
Responsibilities
Attends required CFH training sessions.
Respect family choices, values, beliefs, and cultures.
Comply with Infection Control policies and procedures and HIPAA.
Actively participates as a front-line example of extra-ordinary customer service.
Respect and protect the confidentiality of patients and families.
Serves as on-site resource and support for families and staff. Round on NICU families and parents. Lead the Parent Support group meetings. Connect patients and families with appropriate hospital support and resources. Function as a liaison among patients, families, and staff to facilitate customer satisfaction. Facilitate communication among families and health care members to promote safety and quality and to provide a seamless patient experience. Assist with policy review and project implementation for NICU quality improvement. Participate in Vermont Oxford Network (VON) committees and conferences.
