Overview
Responsibilities
Be a central point of communication for radiologists: help get people to the right radiologists at the right time, filter calls to minimize radiologist interruption
Assist with communication between radiologists and technical staff
Assist with radiologist scheduling
Assist with Tumor Board and Conference prep; educational activities.
Help coordinate medical student and resident rotations
Administrative assistant duties to departmental leadership: AMD, Quality Officer, IT/Informatics Lead and Managers
Assist with scheduling radiologists non clinical activities: eg meetings, lectures, presentations
Collaborate with Radiology Educator to assist with new physician onboarding/training.
Assist with data management for departmental quality tracking and process improvement.
Any non-clinical task that would impair physician productivity and quality. Eg...allow the doctors to do what they do best and minimize interruptions.
