Overview
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain oncology nursing standards utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Manages staff and daily operations inclusive of the coordination of patient care.
- Assumes responsibility for continuing education and developmental needs of self and staff.
- Responsible for new staff orientation and training
- Assumes responsibility for developing reports, tracking competencies, conducting staff meetings.
Qualifications
Certifications:
- Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - upon hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - within 30 days
- ONS/ONCC: Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate - within 2 years
- National Nursing Certification - within 3 years
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree: Nursing or
- Master's Degree: Nursing
Work Experience:
- Nursing - 3 years
- Leadership - 2 years
