Overview

This position has flexibility to work from Urbana or other locations: Bloomington, Peoria etc.

The Program Coordinator will join a team that approaches sustainability initiatives with curiosity, rigor, and a collaborative approach. The Program Coordinator will facilitate and support the development and implementation of innovative, data-driven sustainability solutions. They must be a quick learner who can rapidly get up to speed on any subject, cultivate relationships, and coordinate stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success and skills in program or project management, with the ability to effectively consider and integrate diverse stakeholder impacts in advancing Carle Health's sustainability efforts.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the company’s internal groups (e.g., plant operations, facilities, environmental health and safety, marketing, and health professional representation) for the development and implementation of initiatives in support of the sustainability strategyLead and promote sustainability engagement activities through tools, education, and training to increase awareness among staff members, patients, and the communityCollaborate with the marketing and/or communications department on a comprehensive communications strategyHas organizational skills, time management skills, self-motivation, project management experience, and priority setting skillsHas experience in change management and continuous quality improvementOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent presentation, verbal, and written skillsDevelop various reports for site management and regulatory groups Identify local, regional and/or national grants/rebates to support energy and water projects including available incentives and rebates which could significantly influence projects and funding decisions Create dashboard for tracking Sustainability KPI

Salary Range

The compensation range for this position is $23.05per hour - $38.49per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
