Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:
The Client Support position assists internally with assigned employer groups becoming involved with and informed of the decisions related to any particular group's health care options. Works closely with Client Consultants on assigned employer groups and brokers throughout the year to resolve problems, answer questions, coordinate internal set up of healthcare/benefit changes, prepare updated informational materials and reference information and on administrative performance standards and member satisfaction. Performs all necessary functions to initiate and complete the renewal process for assigned employer groups. Establishes and supports partnership with Sales & Retention during the sales process to ensure a smooth transition for new employer groups and employees. Acts as internal liaison between other internal operational departments and Sales and Retention.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
One (1) year of experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Strong organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently. Must have strong problem-solving abilities and possess a pleasant, positive and professional attitude.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Manages the internal aspects of the group renewal process.
  • Act as the liaison to employer groups and brokers on behalf of HAMP Client Consultants in his/her absence through phone and email.
  • Works with other departments as needed to order various usage reports such as utilization and catastrophic case data.
  • Attends implementation meeting with Sales and Operational staff for certain employer groups to ensure a smooth transition from new sale to retention side.
  • Coordinates information gathering and flow to our value added partners (i.e. BPC) as needed.
  • Manages materials and supplies for on-site employee presentations
  • Works within the Salesforce tool with regard to the account management and retention of current and new business.
  • Provides support for standardized and ad hoc reporting, RFP process and completion, new sale support, and other related tasks.
  • Service groups and brokers for all markets: Health Alliance Core market, HANW and FCC business.
  • Assist with prospective broker contracting and handling initial points of contact.
  • Main point of contact to provide status updates for example: applications, provide temporary ID cards, portal setup and access.
  • Service brokers via phone and email and assist with certification questions, trainings, portal access, broker license expiration.
