Job Description

Carle Health is seeking an additional Neonatal NP to join our Level III NICU team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Practice Details Include:

• Join a growing team of 8 Nurse Practitioners and 6 Neonatologists
• 48-bed NICU and 14-bed step down unit
• Dedicated 24-hour Neonatologist Physician team coverage
• Schedule will consist of a combination of 10-24 hour shifts, depending on experience
• 561 admissions to the NICU from July 2021-August 2022, and 2,707 deliveries in 2021
• Attend high risk deliveries and perform standard NICU procedures such as intubation, lumbar punctures, PIC lines, Umbilical Catheterization
• Dedicated Neonatal and Perinatal air and ground transport team
• Flexible schedule including evenings/nights and holidays

Education Requirements:
Master's degree in Nursing

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse license. Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certification and licensure required.
