Role

The Industrial Manufacturing Technician (IMT) Apprentice is an entry-level position designed for individuals eager to build a career in advanced manufacturing and energy storage technology. Under the guidance of senior technicians and engineers, the apprentice will learn to set up, operate, monitor, and maintain high-tech manufacturing equipment used in the production of Cache Energy’s long-duration energy storage systems.

This role combines hands-on technical training with structured classroom instruction to provide a comprehensive understanding of industrial systems, safety protocols, and quality control.

Responsibilities

● Assist in the assembly, installation, and commissioning of energy storage units

● Support senior technicians in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and system errors

● Actively interact with customers, corporate partners and contractors to achieve the above.

● Work in a small, driven, collaborative team with a large amount of autonomy and ownership.

Apprenticeship Development

● Attend and complete all required Related Technical Instruction (RTI) courses.

● Maintain a logbook of hours worked and competencies mastered.

● Actively participate in mentorship sessions and performance evaluations.

Qualifications

This is a hands on role. The ability to move fast and the knack for getting things done is necessary. An innovative mindset and strong desire to work with tools and machinery is preferred.
