BTB Energy Solutions Co is in search of an electrical instructor to teach our Electrical Level 2 course. This course covers a multitude of topics and electrical field experience is required. Class is held one day per week at the Rantoul Business Center for a total of four hours. Materials/Instructor Toolbox are provided by ABCIL (Associated Builders and Contractors Inc. Illinois Chapter).

Rate: This position is hourly and paid at a rate of $35.00/hr

Duties:

• Provide weekly instruction over the course of one year on the following topics: Alternating Current, Motors: Theory & Application, Electric Lighting, Conduit Bending, Pull and Junction Boxes, Conductor Installation, Cable Tray, Conductor Termination and Splices, Grounding and Bonding, Circuit Breakers and Fuses, and Control Systems and Fundamental Concepts.
• Engage students through discussions and activities.
• Administer and proctor tests in class (or virtual) as the materials direct and ensure testing environment is undisturbed.
• Monitor student performance and attendance.
• Input grades timely, as needed.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of electrical field experience
• Availability after 4PM to teach course after working hours
