BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The Regional Finance Director is a key leader of the finance organization and a strategic partner to BluSky Regional and Branch Vice Presidents. This role provides financial leadership and delivers insights that drive operational performance, profitability and strong cash flow generation. The Regional Finance Director leads and develops a team of finance managers, fostering a high-performance culture centered on accountability and continuous improvement. Leveraging data-driven analysis and actionable insights, this role partners closely with operations to identify opportunities and signals, optimize resource allocation, and enhance strategic decision-making. The position plays a critical role in aligning financial strategy with regional goals, improving bottom-line results, and enabling scalable growth across the organization.
Salary Range : $155,000 - $175,000 +bonus
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead branch level budgeting, forecasting, and monthly review processes, including variance analysis and performance tracking.
- Provide timely, actionable financial reporting and insights to advise leadership and operators.
- Partner with operations and commercial teams to evaluate project performance, pricing, and margin improvement opportunities.
- Monitor and improve working capital performance, including oversight of collections, DSO, and adherence to escalation protocols.
- Identify and drive cost control initiatives and resource optimization efforts across the region.
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and deliver financial presentations and reporting packages for senior leadership.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting, forecasting, and adherence to company policies and controls.
- Oversee and develop finance team members, including coaching, training, and performance management.
- Utilize data warehouse tools and Power BI to track and analyze key business metrics.
- Stay informed of market trends and incorporate relevant insights into financial planning and analysis.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This role supervises two to three finance team members.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- 7-10 Years in a similar role or within the construction industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with MS Office suite (with high level of proficiency with excel), and ability to quickly grasp new systems and software.
- Team player -- able to collaborate at all levels throughout the organization.
- Experience utilizing/working in ERP systems
