Your Role: We are seeking a highly skilled electrician for our production facility. This role is responsible for installing and repairing electrical systems and the electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment. The electrician will follow electrical codes, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications to help ensure reliable electrical distribution throughout the plant. Aerosol filling experience is a plus.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Trouble shoots and repairs production equipment and electrical systems such as electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, motors and conveyor systems, in a timely manner.
  • Dismantles machinery using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools to access, remove, and repair defective parts.
  • Identify the correct parts and material needed for the repair.
  • Support new equipment installations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
  • Complete repairs and installations with minimal disruption to plant operations.
  • Maintain inventories of electrical equipment, parts, and supplies by monitoring stock levels, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt.
  • Respond to questions and requests related to electrical maintenance.
  • Prepare electrical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Respond to questions and requests related to electrical maintenance.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications; and building professional networks.
  • Support continuity across work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
  • Responsible for following all safety policies and procedures, maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with rules, and regulations.
  • Contributes to team goals by completing related tasks as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

SKILLS, ABILITIES and EDUCATION:

  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on maintenance in the manufacturing environment.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Team Lead or Supervisor experience preferred.
  • Ability to read schematics and drawings to support troubleshoot.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
  • Valid Driver License.
  • Understanding of GMPs, SOPs, Lockout/Tagout, and OSHA regulations.
  • Experience in an FDA regulated, cGMP manufacturing environment Preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, contractors, upper management and associates verbally or in a written format creating reports or correspondence as needed.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks typical of a distribution center environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule: 1st Shift

Work Days: Monday-Thursday, with possible overtime.

Hours: 6 AM- 4:30 PM: Employees must be available to work weekends.

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this role is $38-$42/ per hour and considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
