Your Role:

Responsible for the processes of domestic and international shipments, including dangerous goods, for the Rantoul Distribution Center safely, accurately, and on schedule. Coordinates shipment documentation, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance to support reliable distribution operations and responsive service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide a "Customer Service" attitude that has a high focus on sense of urgency.
  • Communicates effectively and professionally with all departments and customers.
  • Coordinate Customer Paid Freight Shipments (using External resources provided by the Customer).
  • Coordinate Distribution paperwork for rework process.
  • Coordinate Inbound Finished Goods (Customer Returns and Containers).
  • Maintain Bin Master Data.
  • Coordinate Dock / Order Audits.
  • Preform Audits on Item Master data that affects the Distribution Process.
  • Assures compliance with all shipper requirements and federal, state, and local requirements including OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Track product releases and status to ensure efficiency.
  • Cross-train to provide support and back-up for other positions.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities and resources to support changing needs and consistently meet deadlines with expected results.
  • Maintain an efficient flow of materials and meet daily goals.
  • Research, troubleshoot and resolve problems and maximize efficiency.
  • Inform management of problems as they occur, effectively communicate, & complete reports.
  • Maintain efficient and thorough filing of all documents.
  • Document work processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Assure that all activities are accomplished accurately, timely and effectively within guidelines.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Warehouse Operations Manager.

SKILLS:

  • Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant distribution, shipping, or logistics experience; current hazardous-goods shipping certification; and proficiency with ERP, WMS, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong knowledge of BQG professional products.
  • Must have hazardous goods shipping certification and attend regular training to maintain.
  • Possess good math skills and computer skills (ERP/WMS/Office/Excel/Word).
  • Possess good professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess high level interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers and vendors.
  • Possess time management & organizational skills; Ability to multi-task & react to changing priorities.

Schedule: 1st Shift

Work Days: Monday – Friday with OT on Friday and occasional Saturday

Hours: 06:00 AM – 02:30 PM

COMPENSATION: This position is classified as non-exempt, and the starting pay for this role is $18.50 per hour.
