Your Role: The Receiving Lead assists in directing the daily operations of the Receiving Department to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant receipt of materials in support of production and business needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Lead daily receiving operations, including unloading, verification, labeling, staging, and storage of raw materials and packaging components.
• Assign work, prioritize tasks, and support team members to meet daily and weekly receiving demands.
• Act as the primary point of contact for receiving related issues during assigned shifts.
• Ensure receiving activities comply with GMP, FDA, OSHA, and company quality standards specific to personal care manufacturing.
• Train new and existing employees on receiving procedures, safety requirements, GMPs, and material handling practices.
• Identify process improvement opportunities related to safety, efficiency, inventory accuracy, and service levels.
• Participate in cross functional problem solving with Quality, Production, and DC teams.
• Transport hazardous waste drums from plant to Hazardous Waste Storage Building, Assist in preparing hazardous waste drums and totes for pick-up and disposal.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
SKILLS, ABILITIES and EDUCATION:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of receiving, warehouse, or materials experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous lead or informal supervisory experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required; must be able to safely operate powered industrial trucks in accordance with OSHA and company standards.
• Working knowledge of basic computer skills, including use of warehouse management systems, data entry, inventory transactions, and email communication.
• Required Hazardous Waste training includes Proper storage, time tables for storage, labeling and marking requirements.

Work Days: Monday – Thursday
Hours: 5:00 AM – 03:30 PM

COMPENSATION:
The hourly pay for this role is $19.50 per hour.
