Job title: Quality Control Auditor

Reports to: Compliance Manager

Job summary: Monitor, verify, and document cleaning and sanitization activities of batching and filling operations.

Essential functions:

• Perform Verification for batches, pre-weigh, dye Weighing, and active drug ingredient weighing.
• Ability to communicate QC Laboratory regarding any problem batches.
• Ability to properly swab equipment.
• Ability to comprehend and verify that the SOPs are being followed properly.
• Monitor and maintain all cleaning and sanitization logs in compounding and on the production lines.
• Assist in investigations by providing the required documents involved.
• Perform bleach & peroxide testing, logging results, and reagent prep & management.
• Perform solids testing.
• Assist with GMP training and follow up.
• Perform micro motion meter testing and sanitization verification.
• Inspect cleaning & sanitization of tanks, fillers, portables, & other equipment for use.
• Perform swabbing and inspection of incoming bulk tankers for release (including paperwork verification).
• Assist and/or audit scale calibration verification.
• Ability to sample bulk chemical storage tanks weekly.
• Ability to make R&D lab batches.
• Ability to perform raw material sampling.
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Skills, Abilities, and Education:

• High school diploma with some science educational background.
• Previous experience in manufacturing environment with compounding or laboratory experience.
• Possess knowledge of passivation methods and follow-up tests for stainless steel tanks.
• Possess knowledge of perm product manufacturing.
• Previous experience with and/or knowledge of interactions with contract customers, consultants, and corporate personnel.
• Ability to physically climb and visually inspect tanks, logs and general housekeeping.
