Your Role

Responsible for the timely picking and shipping of product orders in a safe and efficient manner. “Pick” orders with accuracy, ensuring products are shipped in a timely manner to support customer needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Provide an internal "Customer Service" attitude that has a high focus on sense of urgency.

· Check forklift and complete safety inspection checklist prior to daily operation.

· Add water to the weekly fork truck assignment.

· Perform order picking using forklift, complete outgoing order verifications, and load trucks.

· Perform all tasks in a safe manner that assures personal safety and the safety of others

· Confirm that orders are picked accurately by verifying item numbers and quantities.

· Distribute orders to the appropriate dock locations and load trailers

· Maintain high level of accuracy on RF transactions.

· Load trucks, complete verifications, tag materials & perform verification counts.

· Follow all company policies, procedures and GMP’s.

· Effectively manage multiple priorities and resources to support changing needs.

· Maintain an efficient flow of materials and meet daily goals.

· Inform management of problems as they occur and effectively communicate.

· Maintain good housekeeping in the department.

· Perform other duties as assigned by leads, supervisor, and manager.

SKILLS, ABILITIES and EDUCATION:

· Excellent attendance and punctuality are a must.

· Ability to work required overtime is a must.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

· Ability to operate a forklift in a safe efficient manner.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Possess attention to detail and good basic math skills.

· Possess good teamwork and communication skills.
