About the Position

The Branch Manager leads the Champaign branch team, driving sales performance, business growth, operational excellence, and exceptional customer experience. This position is responsible for team development, customer and community relationships, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader who enjoys developing employees, building relationships, and making an impact in a community banking environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Drive deposit growth, lending production, and overall branch performance
• Build and maintain strong customer, business, and community relationships
• Monitor branch performance and achieve sales and service goals
• Representing the bank at community events and networking opportunities
• Lead, coach, and develop branch team members
• Conduct performance conversations and support employee development
• Ensure operational accuracy, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
• Resolve complex customer concerns professionally and efficiently
• Promote teamwork and exceptional customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of retail management experience
• Lending experience preferred
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development skills
• Strong knowledge of retail banking products, services, and branch operations
• Proven ability to drive sales and business development
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to exceptional customer service

Salary Range:
The base salary range for this position is $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, compensation may include performance-based incentives, bonuses, benefits, and other incentives.
