Salary Information:
- Minimum Hiring Rate: $23.02/hour Maximum Hiring Rate: $25.82/hour
- Monthly Bonus opportunities up to 9% of base monthly pay

Summary: Plans and conducts reliability testing activities for industrial processes, materials, and products to support production and new product introduction objectives.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reliability testing and reliability testing equipment to support production verification and new product validation objectives.
- Develops, revises, and executes a testing schedule to complete testing objectives.
- Using standard tests, evaluates materials and processes for compliance with established requirements.
- Proactively assesses and maintains equipment for standard testing.
- Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods to evaluate trends and nonconformances in reliability test results.
- Documents and reports data consistent with company policies and procedures.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications for documenting and reporting reliability testing data. Must gain proficiency in additional applications for specific job functions.
- Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and recommends process improvements to plant leadership.
- Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.
- Escalates equipment, quality, and safety issues to Shift Supervisors and other AFSI personnel as appropriate.
- Works in a safe manner and is mindful of the safety of others, following all safety policies and procedures. Reports any accidents and potentially unsafe situations immediately to appropriate supervisor and/or other leaders.
- Supports other department objectives as needed.

- Education and/or Experience:
2-year degree or certificate from college or technical school; or 2 to 4 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Language Skills:
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; speak effectively before groups of employees; effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, partners, and customers.
- Mathematical Skills:
Able to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry; apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Reasoning Ability:
Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Preference given to qualified candidates with current ASQ certifications.
- Other Skills and Abilities:
Able to interact well within and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
