Duties
Manage program(s) and activities related to facility safety, emergency preparedness, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) support, real estate and space management, personal property excessing and report of survey, conference room and meeting support, on-site onboarding and offboarding tasks, and bulk office supply purchasing.
Performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a manager. Manages, coordinates, tracks, and provides support and advice in the area of multiple and varying operational program(s), facility activities and projects. Ensures the integration and coordination of those activities. In particular, closely coordinates with program owners, location responsible individuals, line of business coordinators, management officials, and equipment providers to build relationships and ensure adherence to regulations and policies allowing for seamless operations.
Applies experience and comprehensive knowledge of program management to facility support activities, to integrate functional projects/programs that often require the development of new and innovative approaches. Also, applies experience and knowledge of federal financial/budget policies, procedures and processes to plan and conduct functional activities for programs. Performs research and develops plans, policies, procedures, guidance, and processes to address facility support matters. Prepares associated plans of action including implementation considerations, analyzes work processes and procedures and make recommendations to improve business processes.
Facilitates multi-functional team efforts to enable integration of services that cross organizational lines. Clearly communicates objectives, deadlines, and requirements. Reports on the status of building operations within assigned location(s).
Organizes and develops materials in preparation for internal and external meetings or briefings including gathering information and providing training or other guidance materials.
Serves on ad-hoc management groups and performs special projects. Supports the development of new methodologies and techniques to solve organizational challenges. Provides guidance and instruction both internally and externally to address diverse, issues which often cross multiple projects, programs, and/or functional areas.
Program(s)/work assignments include:
Real Estate and Space Management activities in coordination with AQS Real Estate Space Services to include:
Coordinating with Responsible Facility Manager (RFM) on cubicle and office space seating assignments for a geographic area; Coordinating facility moves (in and out) with furniture, equipment, management notices, union negotiation coordination via Labor Relations resources in AQS; Coordinating office phone, procurement of printers (if applicable); Assisting with installation of video conferencing equipment to include pre and post setup, working with FAVES representatives, and maintaining the equipment; Coordinating facility service request management/building service tickets.
Personal Property Management:
Reporting on the status of operations, and communicating regularly with the AIR RFM and AIR staff on hot topics and meeting highlights; Purchase Card Holder; Assisting the RFM with occupant emergency planning; Facility onboarding/offboarding POC in coordination with management and administrative support both on and off facility; Supporting conference and meeting/events
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
To qualify for the FV-I band position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level. The next lower grade level is FV-H, FG/GS-12
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
Specialized experience includes:
Experience managing multiple programs/activities/projects and organizing processes in areas pertaining to facility safety, emergency planning, real estate, finance, onboarding, equipment, to provide advice and guidance to others.
