Clarification from the agency
Also open to former permanent excepted service federal employees eligible under an interchange agreement. Current or former permanent federal employees must have met a one year probationary period or trial period in the competitive or excepted service. Duties
Performs a mixture of basic and routine (but progressively more difficult) assignments under the close direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader or more experienced technical specialist. Assists other employees or acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team.
Collects information to be used by more experienced EPS's in preparing correspondence including Congressional correspondence, briefing papers, approval letters and guidance to sponsors associated with all aspects of airport development. Coordinates with a manager, project/program manager, team leader or more experienced technical specialist to plan time and use assigned resources to accomplish assignments.
Contacts are primarily internal to the organizational unit With a manager and Established policies/procedures provide detailed guidance for almost all assignments, with little or no room for discretions. Works uother employees to share information, provide data and/or written analyses and to discuss the status of assignments. May have regular contact with customers and/or external organizations.
Regularly refers problems and work issues to a manager, project/program manager, team leader or more experienced technical specialist when existing guidelines are not available or applicable.
Work is reviewed frequently during assignments and at completion for all aspects of quality.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position at the FV-G level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-F or FG/GS-4 level.
