Registered Nurse (RN)
The Opportunity: ClarkLindsey is a Life Plan Community in Urbana, dedicated to providing a variety of excellent, supportive and creative services for older adults.
We are seeking a skilled, compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for our Assisted Living building. The RN will be responsible for healthcare services for residents living in an Assisted Living and Memory Care environment. This role requires adherence to the Nurse Practice Act and a commitment to person-centered care principles.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Resident Care: Assess, plan, implement and document care. Communicate with residents effectively.
- Supervision and Standards: Supervise CNAs with compassion and clarity; demonstrate and promote teamwork; participate in training and onboarding new team members.
- Quality Service: Accurately dispense and document medications; follow and promote infection control, promote dignity and independence for residents, and support residents' highest practicable level of functioning.
We have a few requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing, with a current/active RN license in the state of Illinois.
- Genuine interest in working with older adults with skill, compassion, and friendliness
- Communicate in English, and have the sight and hearing senses to perform the position responsibilities.
- Make independent decisions and remain calm during emergencies.
- Follow written and oral instructions, procedures and policies.
- Ability to move around the unit, bend, kneel, etc. with ease, push and pull up to 50 pounds, and support up to 200 pounds in an emergency.
- Standby shifts are required.
- Nurses may float to other departments in order to assure quality care for residents.
Compensation and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $37.45 - $40.05 and is based on experience. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.
