As a Revenue Cycle Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate billing, managing accounts receivable, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to maintain financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Billing Oversight:

• Manage all third-party billing activities for therapy and skilled nursing care services.

• Ensure accurate monthly statements and electronic insurance claims.

• Coordinate with external billing vendors to verify insurance coverage and authorizations.

• Communicate with residents and families regarding billing inquiries.

• Accounts Receivable Management:

• Oversee insurance AR processes, reconcile payor accounts, and follow up on outstanding balances.

• Implement strategies to reduce aging accounts and improve cash flow.

• Compliance & Regulatory:

• Ensure adherence to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance regulations.

• Stay current on CMS and NCCI updates and implement necessary changes.

• Facilitate monthly claim accuracy checks and lead audit responses and.

• Collaboration & Reporting:

• Work closely with clinical, therapy, and administrative teams to maintain accurate census and billing data.

• Generate AR and revenue cycle performance reports for leadership.

What You Bring

• Required: 2–5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, billing, and AR.

• Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist designation preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor requirements.

• Proficiency in EMR/billing systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Able to stay focused despite interruptions.

This is a hybrid position. Will be performed both on and off site.

The salary range for this position is $61,000 to $65,000 annually, based on experience, with performance bonuses available.
